Kate Gosselin, known as the mom on reality TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8", will be co-hosting The View on Sept. 14 and 15, ABC announced.

The new season of "Jon & Kate plus 8" opened to Jon and Kate announcing their impending divorce.

Kate will be replacing regular co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who will be on maternity leave, having given birth to her third child, Isaiah, on August 9, ABC said on their website.
