Minka Kelly has denied that she planned to wed baseball star Derek Jeter later this year.
According to the New York Post, the "Friday Night Lights" actress, 29, and her Yankee player, 35, who have been dating for a year, have told close friends and family to "save the date".
A source says, "Derek and Minka are secretly engaged. The wedding is being planned and will take place after baseball season is over."
But a spokesperson for Minka says, "There is no fall wedding planned to Derek Jeter."
The new season of "Jon & Kate plus 8" opened to Jon and Kate announcing their impending divorce.
Kate will be replacing regular co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who will be on maternity leave, having given birth to her third child, Isaiah, on August 9, ABC said on their website.
British actress Emily Blunt has announced her engagement to US actor John Krasinski.
My Summer of Love star plans to wed Krasinski, 29, who plays Jim Halpert in the US version of popular sitcom The Office, according to his publicist, Liz Mahoney.
Krasinski's film credits include Away We Go, Leatherheads and License to Wed.
Blunt, 26, has appeared in Charlie Wilson's War, Sunshine Cleaning and The Great Buck Howard.
