British actress Emily Blunt has announced her engagement to US actor John Krasinski. My Summer of Love star plans to wed Krasinski, 29, who plays Jim Halpert in the US version of popular sitcom The Office, according to his publicist, Liz Mahoney. Krasinski's film credits include Away We Go, Leatherheads and License to Wed. Blunt, 26, has appeared in Charlie Wilson's War, Sunshine Cleaning and The Great Buck Howard.

Blake Lively has been added to the cast of Ben Affleck's crime thriller "The Town," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Blake will join Affleck, Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall and Jeremy Renner, already cast in this adaptation of Chuck Hogan's novel "Prince of Thieves." Chris Cooper is reportedly in negotiations to join the cast, too. Shooting begins next month in Boston on this story that follows an FBI agent, played by Hamm, trying to bust career criminal Affleck and his gang. Lively will play Affleck's troubled ex-girlfriend.
