Kristin Scott Thomas - she is the British Actress. Kristin is a varsatile actress in the flim industry.

Kristin Scott Thomas,(born 24 May 1960) is a British actress. She gained international recognition in the 1990s for her roles in Bitter Moon; Four Weddings and a Funeral and The English Patient. Kristin has recently gravitated toward French cinema in works such as the thriller Tell No One and Philippe Claudel's two-time Golden Globe-nominated I've Loved You So Long, said to be the greatest performance of her career. Kristin has lived in France since she was nineteen, has raised her three children in Paris, and considers herself French. She has been a member of the Legion d'honneur since 2005.

Thomas is perhaps best-known for her central role as an unfaithful wife in The English Patient, one of the biggest screen hits of 1996. During the 1990s, she also appeared opposite Hugh Grant in Bitter Moon and the global box office success Four Weddings and a Funeral. Thomas has also appeared on TV (in the 2003 Book Clubbin' episode of Absolutely Fabulous, she played a character called Plum Berkeley) and in the theatre. Kristin was awarded an OBE in the 2003 Queen's Birthday Honours list, and was also awarded the Légion d'honneur by the French government in 2005.

Scott Thomas is a frequent subject on the British motoring programme Top Gear. She was used as a standard of reference for "good taste," such as during the "Cool Wall" segment of the programme. Presenter Jeremy Clarkson would rate a car's coolness based mostly on what he thinks Scott Thomas' level of distaste for it would be. She made her long-awaited appearance as the "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" on the episode broadcast on 25 February 2007. On this episode, amid excessive kowtowing from Clarkson and joking from Richard Hammond and James May because Clarkson has shown much affection for her in the past, she proceeded to rubbish most of the decisions Clarkson had made over the past years of the Cool Wall. Kristin also ridiculed the car that she had just ordered, a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. She completed her lap in a time of 1min 54secs, placing her just above Phillip Glenister, although still near the bottom of the leaderboard.

In early 2007, she played Arkadina in a London production of Chekhov's The Seagull, for which she won a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress on 9 March 2008. She reprised the role in New York in September 2008. In 2006, Kristin played the lead role of Hélène, in French, in Ne le dis à personne (Tell No One), by French director Guillaume Canet. In 2008, Scott Thomas received a large amount of accolades for her performance in another French film called Il y a longtemps que je t'aime (I've Loved You So Long), including BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress. In 2008 Scott Thomas took on the litle exposed role of Anne Boleyns mother Elizabeth in The Other Boleyn Girl movie. It was her first corset film.

In 2009, she played the role of a fashion magazine creator and editor in the film Confessions of a Shopaholic. Scott Thomas is divorced from French gynaecologist François Olivennes, by whom she has three children: Hannah (born in 1988), Joseph (1991), and George (2000). They had been together 18 years. She supposedly had a brief romance with Prince while making 1986's, Under The Cherry Moon.

The separation was reportedly precipitated by her romantic involvement with English actor Tobias Menzies, whom she met while appearing in Chekhov's play Three Sisters in London's West End. Menzies was also her costar in a London production of Pirandello's As You Desire Me in 2006.

Her relationship with Menzies now over, she lives in Paris with her two younger children, and counts Charlotte Rampling, Gérard Depardieu, Jane Birkin, and her English Patient costars Juliette Binoche and Ralph Fiennes among her closest friends.

Is Katherine Heigl wants too more??? Katherine dropped from a movie for her demand.

Heigl dated Joey Lawrence in 1994 and Roswell costar Jason Behr during the run of the series. In June 2006, she became engaged to singer Josh Kelley, whom she met on the set of his music video for "Only You". They were married on December 23, 2007 in Park City, Utah. During a taping of Live With Regis and Kelly, Heigl stating that she and Kelley chose not to live together before they were married, saying, "I think I just wanted to save something for the actual marriage... I wanted there to be something to make the actual marriage different than the dating or the courtship." For their honeymoon they went to the Esperanza resort in Cabo San Lucas. In December 2007, Heigl and Kelley moved into a new home in Los Feliz, California.

At the end of 2007, Barbara Walters named Heigl one of "The 11 Most Fascinating People of 2007 " on an ABC program of that title. Heigl questioned her inclusion on the list, saying that in fact she is actually "quite boring.....not, just kidding, but really".
Katherine Heigl's representative has lashed out at reports that the actress was dropped from an upcoming A-list movie ensemble due to her extortionate salary demands. The "Grey's Anatomy" star, who broke into movies with 2007 comedy hit "Knocked Up," was expected to join Hollywood superstars Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway in romantic comedy "Valentine's Day," due to hit screens in 2011.

But according to online reports, heigl was booted out of the casting line-up after demanding payment of $3 million dollars, despite working for a maximum of 14 days. A source close to the project tells New York gossip column PageSix that "no other actors asked for nearly that amount." However, Heigl's publicist refutes the rumors, insisting it was the actress who decided not to take part in the film.

The rep tells PageSix, "The story is ludicrous. Early negotiations are a daily occurrence in this business, and just for clarification, Katherine walked away from this project for multiple reasons."

KEIRA KNIGHTLEY - Success and Lifestyle

Keira Christina Knightley (born 26 March 1985) is an English film and television actress. She began her career as a child and came to international prominence in 2003 after co-starring in the films Bend It Like Beckham and Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.
Knightley has appeared in several Hollywood films and earned nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role as Elizabeth Bennet in Joe Wright's 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. Two years later she again was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, as well as the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Atonement. In 2008, Forbes claimed Knightley to be the second highest paid actress in Hollywood (behind Cameron Diaz), having reportedly earned $32 million in 2007, making her the only non-American person on the list of highest paid actors or actresses.

Knightley, who lives in London, is involved with her Pride and Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend.Knightley has stated she has no plans to be married in the near future. She previously dated Northern Irish fashion model Jamie Dornan,as well as actor Del Synnott, who, according to some reports, attempted suicide after their relationship ended, although Synnott and Knightley deny these claims.

Knightley has denied rumours she is anorexic, although she did say—after her appearance at the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest premiere led to media speculation that her extremely slender figure was due to an eating disorder—that her family has a history of anorexia.Keira sued the Daily Mail after they claimed she lied about having anorexia; the article said that a teenage girl died from anorexia, indicating that Knightley's physical appearance may have influenced her in some way. She was awarded a settlement for it.In July 2006, Knightley said she has become a workaholic, detailing that "the last five years have blended into one. I can't tell you what was last year and what was the year before" and specifying that she was "working too much" and was "quite frightened that if I continue at this rate I will start to hate what I love," even suggesting that she would take a one-year break from acting to travel and focus on her personal life.
